Magic Patch is a French craft magazine published in English. Which is a good thing as my French is pretty basic... par-lay voo er, en-glay? wee?
This month Magic Patch is devoted entirely to folk artist Veronique Requena and her shop Born to Quilt located in the lovely village of Mornant (must visit when next in France)...
This is Veronique's chocolate Lab Jules. Each project has Jules own 'Paw Rating System' and special tips (I knew I'd love this mag).
Cute wall hanging - "The Simple Life". Would look great in the hall...
It's a sewing machine cover! That must be Jules by the front door. If I use black fabric instead of brown it could be our Zipper! :-o)
I can imagine these made up in many types of lovely fabric. Beginner level too! Jules tip: "You can embellish your cat with a collar by threading a pretty button on leather lace or ribbon". Clever boy!
Thanks for joining me! Enjoy the rest of your day!

This is my last post for a while as I'm about to leave for a two week mystery break! ;-)
What a LOVELY magazine!!! I don't think we can get it here... :(
What, you just got back from a skiing trip not too long ago, Kalianne - I am jealous you get to leave for another trip! :)
Wherever you go, have a grand time, okay?
Hugs!
Thank you for letting me sit on the sofa with you and read that lovely magazine with you! What beautiful projects. Enjoyed my tea too!
You have a wonderful mystery trip -Have a safe one and I expect lots of pictures when you return.
These things are so sweet. How I wish I had that sewing ability!!
That does look like a nice magazine! I remember making cats very similar to the one in the magazine. I like the little birdie! The scones looked yummie! I could really go for one right now, with a nice hot tea !

Oh I wish I had a sewing machine AND the time to be crafty that way! Cute magazine! Have fun on your trip and take your camera as we'll all be looking forward to pictures when you get back!
Dear Kalianne,
Lovely projects to make! I hope you have a wonderful trip and I'll look forward to visiting when you return!
Blessings,

Have a wonderful trip Kalianne! I love the sound of this magazine and will have to see if I can get a copy. Tea and magazines are a favourite relaxing activity for me.

Kalianne,
Oh, I would love to learn how to quilt. My daughters future mother-in-law quilts and there is just something about saying "I made that" when looking at quilts. I really like the sewing machine cover. I am going to look at that one a little closer. I would love to sit in on an Amish quilting session too.
Thanks for the ideas :)
I love all types of magazines, thank you for sharing yours. I love everything you've shown, especially the kitty cats! they would make a wonderful gift for a cat lover...like myself :).
Blessings,
Kathi :)
Hmm...I don't know. There's something suspect about a dog giving advice on how to embellish a cat. Hee hee.
We had a cat called Zipper once - because he used to zip around the house like a streak of lightning.
See you soon!
Kat
That looks like a pretty magazine. I haven't sewed anything significant in *years*! It's cheaper to go to Wal-Mart and just buy whatever I want. I'm soooo lazy now. [lol] Hope you enjoyed your vacation! We just returned from ours to western NC and northern GA. Lovely fall colors. ♥ ∞
Kalianne~ Oooooh, a mystery holiday. Can't wait to here where you went. Is that wee trailer yours? It is cute, cute, cute!
I just got some pretty rose curtains for our wee camper.
Those Nigella scones looks delicious!
Take care and drop by when you get back,Hugs Marie Antionette
I will be anxious to hear about your mystery absence. What a great magazine! I am like others that have commented. Magazines and books are my weakness and this looks like a great one. Quilting looks fun I just haven't got the nerve up to try it. Are there some especially easy patterns? Hope you have fun!!!! Hugs, Trish
