The Lord is my Shepherd to feed, guide and shield me, I shall not lack.
He makes me to lie down in fresh tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes and restores my life; He leads me in the paths of righteousness and right standing with Him - not for my earning it, but for His name's sake.
Yes, though I walk through the deep, sunless valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for you are with me; Your rod (to protect) and your staff (to guide), they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my brimming cup runs over.
Surely only goodness, mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life and through the length of my days, the house of the Lord and His presence shall be my dwelling place.
Psalm 23 (Amplified Version)

Hi dear friends! Thank you for all your heartwarming messages! What an amazing couple of months it's been! I'm back from my 'mystery' trip (which has drawn together the remaining threads of an amazing journey of faith for my husband and I). The news - we are moving 1,800 km (just over 1,000 miles) south to begin a brand new life! We leave in just 2 weeks! Once we are settled I’ll share a little of our experience and the testimony of God’s exceptional grace in our lives.
It's great to be back!

Whoa, that is BIG NEWS! Glad your back safe and all. Looking forward to hearing about the continuing journey!
A 1000 miles!! From where, to where?
Well, please remember our prayers are with y'all. I hope it all goes smoothly. I pray that you can set up your "nest" easily and quickly. I know that I'm not happy until my home (my nest) is "just right". Let us know all that happens if it's convenient, k? We're all ears!
God bless. ♥ ∞
Welcome back, Kalianne! Your presence has been missed on the blogosphere. Your comment here is most intriguing....sounds like there is adventure and change afoot for you. I'm glad you're back.....!!
We are moving to live among friends and family again! I can't tell you how over the moon I am! As much as I appreciate the tropical climate and lovely beaches up here I've been so homesick.
It's funny the things you don't notice until they're not there anymore - like green rolling hills studded with grazing sheep (and lambs when I visited), roses and apple blossoms, crisp evenings by the fireplace, country hospitality and neighborliness. Most of all I've missed being near my family and dear friends.
Pinch me! Is this a dream? :-o)
Kalianne! I've missed you very much! Not only are you back in bloggyland, but you have wonderful news to share; both the Good News of the 23rd Psalm, and the very good news of a new adventure! God is Good!
What wonderful news for you :o)
I can well understand your joy and happiness at this latest development!
Blessings to you ...
So pleased to see you back with us! You must be so excited. What a great literal and figurative journey you are on. As long as the Good Lord is guiding you, you cannot go wrong.
The 23rd Psalm has always been my favourite - so consoling, so uplifting.
Bless you, Kalianne (and your husband too!)
Kat
Congratulations on your move! Such exciting news.
Ok, you won't belive this, but the print you posted is by an artist named Katherine Brown and about 20 years ago she painted my portrait! It hangs now in my library. I had a large red Chow Chow at the time and he is sitting with me in the painting. Such a coincidence!
Kalianne, Welcome back! You've been very missed....Congratulations on your new and exciting move!
I really needed to be reminded of that Psalm this morning...Feeling rather melancholy today.
Dear Kalianne,
What wonderful news ~ I am so happy for you!! May the Lord continue to lead you in these next couple of weeks ~ which will be busy I'm sure! Looking forward to hearing about your new adventures!
Blessings and prayers,
Sharon
