Dear Friends,
We are still living in the beautiful wilderness area of Victoria's remote south-east. We have no phone at home or access to Internet. No TV. No mod cons. But the beauty and serenity of this place far outweighs the hardships.
Because it's a long drive to access Blogger (in town) and as there are time limits on public Internet I won't be posting again until we move back to town (anytime from late March to early May, 2009).

How wonderful to hear from you. I miss you too. Sounds like a grand adventure you are having though. Amazing. You shall have so much to share when you return.
***Update***
We are safe from the devastating fires that raged across south and south-east of Victoria over the weekend. Saturday night was very unplesant - hot winds, thick smoke and ash. So many people have lost their lives, burned to death in homes and cars. Our nation is in shock. Please pray for the victim's grieving families and for those who have lost everything.
We ARE praying for them. Nature is a cruel mother - she shows little mercy at times. Glad to hear from you and to know you're alright.

Thank you all so much. The last of the fires are under control today as we had some cooler, wet weather over the weekend. Our little 'neck of the woods' was spared.
